Superb pub with rooms on NC500

First time visitor to Invergordon. Truckers inn was easy to find with great views of Cromarty firth. On my arrival I was warmly greeted with good explanations regarding my stay. It was easy to book a table for dinner. My room was basic but ample for my needs. I had a good sleep and very pleasant stay.

Lovely B&B by the sea

Lovely B&B in a bar/restaurant. Newly refurbed. The decor in the room was lovely and everything was very clean. Lobby area quite dated but the sea views and lovely breakfast make up for that.

Spotless room

The room was spotless but the hotel bar, restaurant and especially the staircase were looking tired and a bit grubby. Having said this we did enjoy our stay and the location was great.

Yes, the hotel is a little dated but it is clean and comfortable. The room we were in needs some refreshing but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth staying. Meals in the restaurant/pub were very delicious. It is about half hour from Inverness but that means the area is very quiet. The hotel overlooks the bay. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The hotel was a bit dated but the staff were very friendly and polite, the breakfast was great and the room was exceptionally clean I would recommend it to family and friends
