This hotel is amazing. The decor is unique and Mozart themed, the rooms are clean and beds comfy, there are balconies in most rooms with a view of the mountains, and it is right in the main old town area. I also requested an early check in due to plans we had later in the day, and they were very accommodating and even brought us a welcome coffee and pastry while our room got cleaned. There is also a rooftop bar and breakfast with a great view of the mountains. We will definitely stay here again!

The location is perfect in old town if you like to walk. Close to everything. The hotel is modern inside, historic outside. Busy and noisy outside but quiet after 10 pm. Everyone was friendly. We were there during hot weather and the air conditioning couldn’t keep up. But cool at night.

I don’t normally give bad reviews but feel that the images given online don’t portray the rooms conditions. The first room we had the shower didn’t work and there was mold all in the tiled walls. The staff was very apologetic and gave us a second room that had a random throw carpet over the wall to wall carpet that had a huge stain on it. The walls were dirty and desperately needed a cleaning. The toilet seat was painted black and the paint was chipping. The staff were very nice and helpful. But the rooms were not well kept. We thankfully only stayed one night.

This was a lovely boutique hotel where Mozart himself once stayed. The breakfast and views from the restaurant were excellent. The staff were kind and helpful. This hotel is perfectly located in the old town tourist area. I felt at home away from home. I would definitely stay here again!

We had the pleasure of staying at Altstadthotel Weisses Kreuz for one night, and it was a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional, making us feel at home straight away. Check-in was quick and effortless, and the complimentary welcome drink was a lovely touch that really set the tone for our stay. Although we were only passing through and stayed for one night, we were genuinely impressed by the hotel’s hospitality and charming atmosphere. It’s clear that the team takes great pride in looking after their guests. We will definitely be back, and next time we’ll be staying much longer.
