“The Old White Inn was in a great area and it was nice to stay in an authentic inn. On the second night of our stay, we were awoken by a person coming up the stairs pounding on all the doors on our floor and trying to gain access in the rooms with a key. The person was also slamming the furniture outside the hallway. This went on a few times and then we saw another person receiving deliveries at 3 in the morning and slamming the front door several times. The next morning this same person was...

“Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear...

“We stayed for two nights and had a very friendly welcome. Our room was beautiful, very clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The bathroom was huge with a free standing roll top bath and seperate shower. The hotel was right on the door step of the town centre and cafes, bars and restaurants though everything you need is right in the hotel. Breakfast was cooked to order and served piping hot, one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Overall the hotel is fabulous...
