Pros Front desk staff were friendly. Staff allowed an extended checkout time of 12:30 PM. Bed was comfortable. Water was hot. Cons Though an extended checkout was granted, housekeeping staff knocked incessantly on the room door and then attempted room entry at 8:29 AM. This was reported to the front desk, at 10:30 AM upon checkout, who apologized but did nothing to make the error right.

Great, except for one item!

First impression was excellent: the hotel is situated just off the freeway in a great area with many amenities including multiple restaurants and shops within walking distance. We enjoyed a delicious Japanese hibachi dinner next door. The hotel itself looked like it had been built within the last 5 years, with quality furniture and full toiletries in the bathroom. The room was spacious with frig and microwave, the beds and bedding comfortable. We didn't have time to use the indoor pool but the gym was well-equipped, although the A/C was broken (on a hot day) with a sign "Use at your own risk"! The only real negative was that after our first day, we noticed the carpet in the room was filthy, with a bad odor near the door (maybe spilled milk that had not been cleaned properly). Maid service was fine (daily clean) but the carpet should be thoroughly shampooed!
