Vacations Close To Indiana Grand Racing and Casino

Location is good. Shuttle provides transport to and from airport. They do charge a $10.00 parking fee which I thought was ridiculous if you are paying for a room there. Other than that, I could recommend this hotel.

Hotel Indy was clean, the staff was friendly, and the bed was warm and comfortable. Unfortunately, the street noise was extremely loud, it felt like sleeping on the street, just in a comfy bed. Traffic seemed to never stop, and we ended up sleeping with the TV on to help muffle the noise. Dining was another frustration. The downstairs restaurant was closed for a wedding party, and we were told we could get food at the rooftop lounge. After heading upstairs, we were turned away because some people in our group were under 21. It would have been helpful to know that before sending us up there. Staff suggested a brewhouse a couple of blocks away, but after a long day, everyone was tired, hungry, and irritable, so heading back out wasn’t ideal. We also booked the room for four guests but were only given three bath towels, which seemed odd. Overall, an okay stay. We appreciated the cleanliness and friendly staff, but the street noise and inconvenient dining experience took away from it.

This property is quite dated and it seems that the front desk folks have zero control over amenities. 1 key reason I booked this was for the bar and it wasn’t open. I asked if he could sell me a can/bottle of beer and he said he didn’t have keys. Also, my tv didn’t work.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Westin Indianapolis! Everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was great. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making my visit such a pleasant one!
