The pool was neat with a cool waterfall. Nice ambience. Although clean to the eye, our room spelled liked dog urine. The breakfast options were rather pathetic as well. We chose to dine out the second morning (we only stayed 2 nights). Keep in mind this is not a Holiday Inn. It is an old, low quality motel. You get what you pay for.

Clean rooms. Sheets and bedding comfortable. Pillows were all the same firmness and I a prefer a softer pillow. The breakfast hot food was empty when we got there at 8:50 with service until 9. Eating in the pool area didn’t work for me due to the heat and high humidity where the breakfast seating was located. This is a good location to downtown and easy walk to fast food. We found a “front porch” homemade cookie shop within walking distance in the neighborhood. Pool nice but hot tub had no way to turn on the jets.

Two separate reservations and stays on consecutive days because of travel issues due to weather. The fact that we went back instead of looking for other accommodations should tell you something. Everything was clean, some minor little things though: bathroom door in one room didn’t quite work, and one hand towel was missing in the other room. (Two adults both times.) Other than that, everything was just fine. Plenty of well-lit parking, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and if I am ever back in that area again, I intend to stay at the Apple Tree Inn again. Excellent bargain.

I needed a place to stay during house closing. Staff is friendly and helpful. Clean room comfy beds. Breakfast was left to be desired, but priced reasonably through Expedia, and pet friendly.

We liked that it was pet-friendly and our room was clean. It was extremely hot due to the A/C being turned off. We only stayed in the room long enough to change clothes, so not sure how long it took to cool the room down, as we were gone for several hours. The room is dated, but we were only there to sleep for one night. The front desk person was wearing house shoes and a t-shirt, which seemed strange to me, but she was friendly. She explained that they had a full breakfast buffet and the service times. There was no full breakfast. There was a waffle maker and cereal. I was a little disappointed in that, but since I wasn't expecting breakfast, it wasn't that big of a deal. We didn't use the pool. I could see that other clientele were utilizing the pool as they came into the lobby, wrapped in towels and barefoot. GROSS! Lol! I would probably stay there again if it were just a one-night thing, like this time, just because of the location.

I ended up staying a week waiting to close on new home. Hotel was nice, hot tub and pool was awesome! Unfortunately many guest coming and going all hours of night slamming doors, and loud talking. Asked manager to move me to another room, but refused to accommodate me. Guess it doesn’t matter if their ratings go down. Several homeless lurking around area, and appeared to be drugged up! Apparently this town has a drug problem.
