This hotel is a gem! The staff is super friendly and they help a lot! Room was clean, shower is great, self parking is in front of the property. Located about 20 minutes from Florence in car. The breakfast was EXCELLENT! Coffee is great and the "Toscana mood" is all over. Thank for all your attention. If I could give 6 stars I would do it.

Hotel Villa Ambrosina is quiet, off the beaten path with beautiful views. I absolutely loved the room. It had a beautiful terrace overlooking the hills of Tuscany. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was plentiful for only 5 euros. I will caution everyone that it's a very hilly approach from the town, but we walked to a local store for supplies with no problems at all. I loved this stay.

Pros: Beautiful place, great location and it was easy to catch a bus into Florence, nice view. Restaurant on site, I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant, but it really looked nice and the customers seemed like they really enjoyed it. . Very roomy, plenty of space. Great parking and car charging also available. Staff was very helpful and they serviced the room. CONS: They do charge for very basic Breakfast=sliced meats, pastries, and coffee. The wifi was sketchy the first day. The air conditioner was weak. I would have to open the windows at night to cool the room down.

Amazing views and convenient for Florence

Hotel Villa Ambrosina is up a steep hill with Commanding views of the Tuscan countryside from the top, it was a 15 minute drive from Florence and we parked in a big car park just inside the city walls which was great. The hotel is slightly dated, reception were helpful and there is a separate restaurant on site, the road to the hotel is narrow but there is a better alternative route!

Wonderful place

Our stay in this hotel was wonderful. The guy at the front desk make our stay feel like home. Help us Dutch everything we need. The only thing about this place it’s transportation hard to find a taxi. Other than that all is excellent!!!! Will recommend for a quiet gateway.

Very nice hotel at the top of a mountain with a great view. Beautiful and quiet area to walk around. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was quite good. Going up the mountain in the taxi was quite scary as the roads are very narrow and steep. The room doesn’t have a minibar, which would have been nice. Definitely would come back and recommend it to those looking for some quiet and relaxing time.

Svårt att hitta hotellet

Trevligt familjehotell uppe på höjden utanför Florens. Fint rum men WiFi funkade bara ute i korridoren så det var lite synd. Åk däremot inte endast efter GPS för då är det mycket smal gata upp till hotellet som har en egen privat väg till hotellet som inte kommer upp på vanlig GPS
