We had a wonderful stay. Renata greeted us upon check-in and answered all our questions throughout our trip. The staff was accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

I loved their breakfast. The one receptionist spoke English which was helpful since i didn’t know most Brazilian don’t speak English. The island was BEAUTIFUL! If weather was better, I would enjoy this beachfront lodge.

Fabulous stay on Ilha Grande!

We had a wonderful stay at Pousada Ancoradouro! The front desk staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. The sea room was fabulous, and we had a drink on it looking out at the sea. The garden too is a great spot to read a book or have a drink. They also provide beach chairs that you can take out with you. Cleaners clean the room every day. The breakfast had a wide choice of variety and fresh eggs made how you like. Coffee was avaiable at different points throughout the day to which was an unexpected bonus. Overall we loved our stay and didn't want to leave!

Brilliant stay! Loved the place!

Absolutely amazing stay! Such a convenient location, only a 5min walk from the main town, and there were a couple of restaurant bars right next door. The property is right on the beach and they give you chairs and things if you want them. Staff were super friendly. They offered for us to store our bags and use the property if we needed to kill time before our ferry and spoke some English too. The only thing is it isn’t the best noise proofed, but that seems to be the case with all the other hotels too, so we can’t fault them for it. It wouldn’t stop us from staying again! Breakfast was good. My partner fell in love with the town itself! Would highly recommend.

This is a nice place at an accessible location, good for quiet and relaxed stay, with some great eateries nearby. Staff were very nice and helpful, and provided excellent advice to explore the island!

Comfort in Paradise

Very nice family owned hotel on the beach, with a small private garden in front. Friendly staff, nice breakfast and coffe in the afternoon. Very relaxed and comfortable. And Ihla Grande has many superior beaches just a hike away - a Paradise Island without cars :-)

Standing on our balcony looking out at the ocean was wonderful. Three nearby restaurants (Steak & Beach, Cafe do Mar and Sorretino) were excellent. It was only a short walk to beaches away from the main town (Julia, Bica) and not a long walk to a wonderful more secluded beach (Abraaozinho). The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good - including eggs by request. It was a bit of haul getting from the pier to this pousada, but good to get away from the central area. The only problem was weak internet, but I was glad to have a vacation from my email. Overall, this was great value for an excellent place.

Excellent Choice!

Staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating! Excellent variety of offerings at breakfast. The facilies were immaculate and in superb condition. The shower was powerful with excellent supply of hot water. The location, especially the view, was ecepriinal! Simply stunning. Loved everything! Highly, HIGHLY recommended.

O hotel é bem localização a uns 10 minutinhos a pé de onde desembarcamos. O café da manhã é gostoso, com boa variedade de frutas, pães e queijos. O atendimento é nota 10!

Maravilloso lugar! La isla por sí sola es un destino mágico y llegar a un lugar en donde te hacen sentir como en casa es algo que agradeces con el corazón. Nuestra habitación súper linda a diez pasos literalmente de la playa. Una ubicación muy buena, cerca del pueblo, pero a una distancia en la que de noche no se escucha el ruido y puedes descansar como en tu propia cama. De verdad nos quedamos enamorados de este lugar, de la amabilidad, del corazón que ponen en cada detalle del servicio. Muy recomendado!!!

Limpeza e localização perfeitas

A localização é perfeita. A limpeza de cada detalhe do quarto e das áreas comuns é surpreendente. A equipe de manutenção da pousada trabalha muito bem. O café da manhã é simples, mas muito bem servido. Destaque para os bolos e para a grande e deliciosa variedade de frutas. O único ponto negativo é que o meu quarto não tinha vista e ficava próximo à recepção, por isso se ouvia o barulho das conversas. Mesmo assim, eu voltaria e me hospedaria no mesmo quarto. Super recomendo!

Excelente estadia masss melhorar no café da manhã.

Atendimento 100% atenciosos e educados. Após o checkout deixamos as malas lá e fomos curtir o dia na ilha. Final do dia nos liberaram banheiro e toalhas pra nos arrumarmos e ir embora sem custos. Poderiam melhorar no Wi-Fi, oscilando durante toda estadia. E o café da manhã deixa muito a desejar, bem fraquinho. Fora isso muito bom e bem localizado
