They promise an airport shuttle and claim you can identify the shuttle by the sign. Unfortunately, what they don’t explain is the sign is a 8x10 placard on the dashboard of a generic tourist van. Incomparable to the HolidayInn Express or the Courtyard shuttles. Because they only pick up on the hour, if you miss it because you didn’t squint hard enough, you have to wait another hour. The shuttle is an independent operator, and meanwhile the taxis keep asking if you want a ride. Next, I had the king size room and even that was terrible. The tile in the shower is broken, no exhaust, narrow as heck! The mattress is so old, I felt like I slept in a ditch. The pillows could t hold up! I tried to rest by the pool, and the fabric of the chair I sat on tore. The title around the pool is coming apart. The only thing good about this place was the breakfast!

This place was very clean and had nice quality everything. The food trucks/ other businesses on the property were a nice bonus and had a fun atmosphere. I might have missed it in directions, but it was a little confusing to find. The property includes a hotel, an office building, and these residences. They all share a parking garage so make sure you're reading the signs. A great place to stay!

Close to airport with a free shuttle service. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and modern with comfortable beds and linen. Breakfast had a great selection on offer and freshly cooked eggs of your choice. Would definitely recommend and will return.

What a gem. I asked ChatGPT to create a senior and kid friendly week long itinerary, starting in San Jose. This place was a perfect fit for us! Great staff, delicious breakfast and beautiful gardens including a lovely pool! Pura Vida!

This is a beautiful property with outstanding staff, but overall I don't feel the experience justified the premium price. The biggest disappointment was the food. If I had to rate it, I'd give it a 5.5/10. Every dish looked beautiful, but the flavor profiles consistently fell short. After the first two meals, my expectations remained low. During our stay, we had two dinners, three breakfasts, and three lunches, and the quality was consistently average. The food wasn't bad—it just wasn't memorable or worth the high prices. The included breakfast was also underwhelming. There were very few choices, and basic items you'd expect to be included cost extra. For example, ordering eggs didn't include fresh fruit, and adding a small serving of papaya or watermelon came with an additional charge. At this price point, a more generous breakfast should be standard. We also expected a more authentic coffee farm experience. Since the resort is located on a coffee farm, we thought guests would have some opportunity to learn about or experience it. Instead, there was very little interaction unless you paid an additional $55 per person for the tour. The property itself is gorgeous, peaceful, and very well maintained, and the staff was consistently friendly and attentive. With better food, a more inclusive breakfast, and a stronger coffee farm experience, this could easily be a five-star destination.
