“This property was like no other. Exquisite in every detail. It was made with impeccable taste. The art on the walls, the linens, the stairway, the outside grounds… Every detail. The service and friendly atmosphere were perfect. The rooms were top notch. The wine and wine tasting and tours were all we had hoped for and more. You cannot get any more magical !!! “Easily found hotel on the main road, therefore there is some traffic noise if you have a room at the front. Room was good, with a comfortable bed, and very clean. The lady and gentleman who checked us in/out were very friendly. The walk into town from the hotel is doable and fairly level, where you can then take the funicular up to the old town (just beware it closes early - 7.30pm when we visited in October). ”
