Nice little room, older accommodation but new sink toilet and shower. Not the cleanest room but it was ok. I would stay here again if I come this way. Good parking and convenient Mexican restaurant right next door. The downtown area was very interesting and great small town feel.

Excellent value, pretty property, best location!

My family has been coming here for the better part of 3 decades every Labor Day weekend to take our boat out on Broken Bow Lake and visit Beavers Bend.. the owners of this place have gotten to know our family and always recognize us and come to give us hugs when we arrive each year. It’s not some 5 star resort, but it’s clean, the property is very well maintained, the rooms have connecting doors which is a must for our family.. they have a decent size fridge, a microwave, a nice flat screen tv, it’s always a wonderful value! Plus it shares a parking lot with our favorite restaurant! We will never not stay here when we come up!!

The only thing we did not like about the property was the tv did not have FOX on it and my husband wanted to watch the Super Bowl that night. Fortunately the restaurant next door did have it so he watched it there and they were super nice to him. The room was really nice and kind of rustic although you need to bring your own hairdryer and iron if you’ll need them. We would definitely stay there again.

The room was hot when I arrived so it took a while for the AC to cool it down. Decided to go grab dinner as I let the AC cool off the room. It would’ve been nice them knowing which room I’d be in that the AC was on prior to my arrival since it was a hot day that day. Also the room doesn’t have very good lighting. It has a lodge feel inside so the room has dark wood which doesn’t work well with the current lighting they have. Also, the security chain for the door was broken so I couldn’t use anything other than the normal door lock which for a woman traveling solo isn’t very comforting. The hotel is in a good location with many food options for the area & close to Beavers Bend State Park. Also if you visit this area, there is a cute local doughnut shop right close by. They have great doughnuts.

Don't let the flashy picture of the pretty lobby fool you -- this is an older building, and it's been around the block. The owner was very friendly. Housekeeping was provided and they were accommodating. Everything was acceptably clean and the price was reasonable. However, the furnishings are old. There are no sheer curtains, so your options are wide open daylight or blackout. There are no lamps, so the lighting in the room in the evening is super harsh (we had to keep the potlights off and turn on the bathroom light). The beds are all on metal bases, so sitting on them or rolling over at night sounds like someone kicking a file cabinet. The bedspreads are likely the original bedspreads used when this place first opened (don't look at the undersides, yikes!). All in all, this place was clean and cheap enough to serve our purpose, but we likely wouldn't book again unless we had no other choice.

The location is great! Be mindful of how much you're paying for this location. While it's a steal, there's also a reason. While not a make-or-break for your decision, items are not the latest and greatest. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was quite loud. Housekeeping overlooked a few things - trash on the floor from previous guest and desk chair seat fell through. To be able to offer this location at the price they do, your room's AC will not be on upon arrival. Get ready for a walk-in sauna. Be prepared to drop your luggage, kick the AC on, and go explore for a while. Maybe it's the bed frame, maybe it's for entertainment, but the bed sounded as if a piece of tin was under it. Sound effects? The staff was great! Very helpful.
