Photo "Ickworth House Rotunda This National Trust property is one of England's most unusual buildings, with two curved wings extending from the central Rotunda. http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/main/w-vh/w-visits/w-findaplace/w-ickworthhouseparkandgarden/ The Rotunda was built between 1795 and 1803, but the two wings were added later. The Marquess of Bristol lived in the East Wing, and the rooms that visitors now see in the Rotunda spent much of the time under dust sheets, coming into their own mainly for parties and other special occasions.
