All in all, a very good experience, staying at the Vivanta Hyderabad. Chef Akshaya was outstanding and gave us an extraordinary Thai meal at the Thai Pavilion. My complements to him. The housekeeping staff particularly, Sai Rani, Sourabh and Zaheer were very good in their work and kept us well stocked and the room clean. Anirban in the restaurant was always on his feet, trying to help.

Good quality hotel in convenient location for a few days business trip near the old airport, now closed. The elevated metro ran close by, but no noise from that or busy road. Didn't get to do any site seeing, in local area.

We had an awesome stay here. We had multiple special needs - early check in, accessibility stuff. The staff went above and beyond to assist and accommodate us. The Jacuzzi and steam room took time to work and the floors were too slippery (risk of falls) The temperature for the pool was not controlled so the water was a bit cold. They took time to deliver the baggage to the rooms. I would definitely stay there on my next trip though due to the convenience of the location

I stayed at the property recently for 3 months. While the property is getting a bit old, however, management seems to try its best in the upkeep and maintenance. Room sizes are a bit small, and ceiling lights are not sufficient, leaving corners of the room dark. Makes the room look even smaller than it is. The staff was good and friendly. Yet, there is a problem in communication. At times what they promise will be done, doesn't get done. Perhaps, a result of over promising, not understanding the situation, and complete forgetfulness. Something I did not expect from the Taj group. For example, a major source of frustration for me was trying to get the hotel to post the Tata Neu Rewards to my account for my stay. Despite my constant reminder on numerous occasions and getting false promises from the hotel every time, that it'll be resolved shortly, my rewards points have yet to be credited to my account. Needless to say one would expect this basic task would have been done automatically. Yet, it seemed to be a herculean task. And now that I've checked out of the hotel, I have no more updates as to what and why the problem has not been resolved. Out-of-sight, out-of-mind I guess! I do travel to India often each year and stay for 2 months at a stretch, I have decided if the issue is not resolved in the near future, I will not be staying at Vivanta or at the Taj group any more. There are now equal or better accommodation options and service in Hyderabad now.

Helpful staff, location was easy to access, support staff were good. Rates were affordable. Things that can improve spacing between tables at breakfast as they seem to be too close. Food was good like the attention of all the stuff at breakfast time. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, clean and affordable having breakfast as a inclusion into the room rent was really a good idea
