Older hotel family owned very small lobby. Very limited breakfast options. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean some of the furniture was outdated and stained. Air conditioner worked great. Bed was comfortable. This hotel cost was less than other hotels in the area You get what you pay for.

It was a comfortable stay. Not too noisy and we were able to get some good rest. It is a little run down and could use some upgrades.

Staff was very helpful during stay. Our TV was messed up and the attendant came to thebroom and was able to get it to work. The area was quiet and close to many restaurants. It didn't seem like the cleaning staff swept the floors daily. Much debris on the floor by the air conditioner and dead spiders on the bathroom floor. I was glad they were dead. Otherwise room and linens were changed out daily. I've noticed hotels, this one included, no longer have Do Not Disturb signs for the doors. Is this no longer an option?

When I checked in, the first room I was given had not been cleaned. The bed was unmade, there was an empty glass on the table as well as a 30 pack of mostly empties beer. I was given a different room. In that room there were pieces of food next to what looked to be a comfortable but absolutely GRIMY chair that I wouldn't sit in. There was only 1 accessible electric outlet and that was behind the grimy chair. When I got up to use the restroom during the night there was a big bug (maybe a cricket) crawling across the floor. Oh! And I must mention the wall mounted heating/cooling system. The AC worked very well. But when I got chilly during the night and wanted to switch to low heat the system set off the smoke alarm, so I couldn't use it. As for the staff, the clerk/manager/owner was NOT friendly. At check in he was abrupt and NEVER ONCE said thank you. The housekeeper that I met in the morning was polite, however. On the positive side, the room had a big flat-screen TV with several channels, a small refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee pot with coffee pods, Shampoo, lotion and soap. All of the above mentioned items were clean and the towels were white - not stained. The bed was quite comfortable and the bedding was clean. Based on the condition of room I half expected bed bugs but I was pleasantly surprised that there weren't any. I don't expect high-end amenities or service when staying in an economical hotel, so I guess I got what I paid for.

Building and hallways look outdated, but inside the actual room it’s nice. Updated. Could use extra cleaning, the floors weren’t clean and bedding was stained. Staff was very helpful and tried very hard to make us feel welcome.

Very nice place to stay in Hutchinson

The young guy who works there is notably very friendly and helpful. In fact, he and his boss immediately went to action to fix the problem with the cable television box not working. I was not expecting such swift service. I found the room and lobby area to be nice and clean. I had a very good stay overall and I look forward to returning the next time I am in Hutchinson!

Dingy dirty towels, musty smelling room, noisy ac unit. Very nice staff member!!! However, doubtful I will stay or recommend anyone else stay, until huge improvements are made. Disappointing for a Wyndham chain of motels.
