The apartment was very easy to access on the first floor and check in was quick and simple! There was tons of space inside and it was super comfortable. The self service laundry was the highlight of our stay for the middle of our trip! Super close to downtown & host had many local recommendations which were greatly appreciated. We would recommend this stay & hope to be back one day!

Property was great. Kitchen and bathroom were clean. Beds were comfortable. Apartment was a good size for a group of 5. Location was good, not right downtown but easily walkable (about 10 min) to get to restaurants and the harbour.

Lovely accommodation

Lovely spacious apartment. Clean and comfortable. Easy parking. Great to have access to washing machine and dryer. Unfortunately I never received check in details but they replied quickly when I sent them an email to check. Would recommend.

The apartment was great for our stay in Husavik. In fact, I wish I'd planned two nights there. The apartment has very nice family room furniture - a great place to relax. The kitchen is nice - but the stovetop is difficult to operate without instructions. I would recommend that the host leave a little card with instructions about how to operate it. It is a glass/electronic stovetop, and the safety features require you to press a series of buttons in a specific sequence. I arrived at the combo and sequence by luck after my wife gave up. Another thing about the property: it is on the third floor, and the flight of stairs is extremely narrow and steep. We are young and healthy - so no problem there for us - but - that kind of thing should be stated clearly in the property details because it WAS quite. a climb with suitcases.

Love Husavik!

Easy to find and checking in process was smooth. Beautiful spacious apartment with everything we needed for our stay. The king size bed was particularly creaky, being a wood frame bed. Everything was comfortable otherwise.

This was the old schoolhouse in town. The new school facilities are right next to it. The school seems to be a center for the towns activities… I enjoyed seeing the kids and observing a different culture. You are within walking distance to town and restaurants. I recommend Saltka. We had the second floor unit. Very spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. Also nice to use the complimentary washer and dryer.

Very clean, cozy. I’ve heard that some areas in Iceland have sulfuric water, and this is one of them so that was a little unpleasant (but great water pressure in shower!) and there was no freezer for our ice packs, but overall we were very satisfied.

This room was amazing in every way possible the toilet and shower where pristine and perfect it was clean and comfortable the beds where soft and white(no stains or anything) we met the owner when going back to the apartment and she was nice and bubbly and she made sure we were loving our stay and that we were happy with everything. The apartment it’s self was on the top floor it was a big very pretty green place with amazing lounging areas and a well working tv the room had three beds and had coffee and cups and hot chocolate mix. Over all this is a amazing place to stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars! Would stay in again

Comfortable Stay!

Perfect location with ample parking, comfortable beds, and a fully stocked kitchen. Very clean and comfortable. Great to have access to laundry. Communication was wonderful! We would stay here again.

Overall it was a really nice place to stay. There was a bit of confusion when we first arrived about whether or not we were booked to stay there, and this slightly delayed our check-in. The general area is beautiful and everything in Húsavík is within easy walking distance. Our biggest complaint was that the curtains didn’t block out the light as well as other places we stayed, so it was harder to sleep. Apart from that minor issue it was very nice.
