Vacations Close To Huron-Wendat Museum

Very convenient but very noisy. Bar underneath was supposed to close at 12 but noise went on longer than this. Ask for a quiet room

Great location, unique rooms, well appointed and some with great views, balcony or both. Breakfast good quality. Staff professional and personable. Disappointed we couldn’t get into the hotel bar/restaurant on night music was featured as we weren’t told in advance that reservation may be needed. Will stay again !

We really enjoyed the pool, the grounds are nice and the restaurant is good. Some upgrades maybe needed here and there, but a great location and good hotel for a little get away.

A charming small hotel in the lower, old section of Quebec City. It is very conveniently located in the old town, but be prepared to climb hills and stairs to get to the upper section of town! The staff are professional and pleasant. The beds and pillows were very comfortable after long days of walking. Lots of nice restaurants and coffee shops are located nearby.

The rooms were lovely although the stairs were tough on all of us with bad knees. Next time, we will know better. Everyone seemed very nice until we stepped out of line. The four of us had dinner in their restaurant the first night. It came to about $600 and the bill was split into two. Neither of the husbands who paid the bills, received an itemized receipt. They were just given the machine with a total. My friend and I asked the restaurant manager for the full bill and we were told he cannot pull it up, that it was technically impossible. We are business women and knew this was not true. We persisted and eventually the bill emerged the next day. It left a bad taste. The young men who served us were amazing. We enjoyed their can do attitude. The young woman sense of humour was fantastic! When we were preparing to leave on the Monday after 4 days, I wasn't feeling well and asked the housekeeper who came by if we could have a little more time. She said yes. We rushed anyway and thought we would be close to on time. I have arthritis, bursitis, and terrible tennis elbow, which all caught up with me after a busy trip. The older woman at the front desk scolded me repeatedly. I told her I cleared it with someone else and she said with wide eyed and hard mouthed "That's NOT ME". Yikes. I'm not 55. I'm 5 years old and the kindergarten teacher caught me coming in late from recess What a way to end our lovely vacation -- the first one in a decade. Sad.

I have mixed feelings about this stay. On the one hand, this hotel is beautiful decorated and full of interesting historical artifacts. The staff is generally friendly and its food offering is excellent. On the other hand, there were construction work that woke us up and the beed was fairly small for that alleged level of luxury. Overall, it was a decent offering but I’m not sure that Auberge Saint-Antoine is worth the price.
