When I was booking the hotel I was reading the reviews, a lot commented on it wasn't clean and not good food etc. The hotel although being a bit older than some of the hotels we have stayed in in hurghada, (and that's a quite lot as we lived here 15 years) I have to say it's one of the cleanest hotels we have been in Inc the beach toilets etc, All swimming pools clean, rooms were very clean. The food was excellent, tasty with plenty of choice, and most of the staff were very helpful. The only negative I would say to is make it a bit clearer, what food and drinks were all inclusive, and where you could and could not eat on the all inclusive. Especially the beach restaurant that stops at 3 pm,would be nice both until 5 pm. Otherwise we had a lovely stay and we will definaltely stay again.

Great resort ***for the price***. Staff is great and will bend over backwards to make sure you have a great stay. If you decide to stay here, you will enjoy it, and you'll be glad you did, especially when you look at what you didn't spend at a more expensive resort. Also, the immediate area is very walkable and quite pleasant. Easy access to pharmacies, Carrefour, and the usual resort clothing/souvenir shops. That said, maintainance/upkeep is a bit of an issue. "Weardownables" like towels, sheets, the poolside chaise lounge pads...all seem old and in need of replacement. Our biggest issue was the lack of variety at the main restaurants. You can make a reservation at the small restaurant venues in the resort (some have an upcharge) but the two main restaurants pretty much serve the same stuff every day, and it's not particularly tasty. After the first four days, we found ourselves going into Hurghada to other restaurants. Hurghada isnt expensive and it's close by Uber, so this wasn't a huge issue; just saying you're not going to get cruise ship variety and quality here.

was very disappointed with my stay at Grand Resort. The biggest issue was the constant power outages. The electricity kept going off throughout our stay, and there wasn’t even a backup generator, which made the experience extremely inconvenient. The rooms were also very hot because of the old air conditioning system. It struggled to cool the room, making it uncomfortable, especially during the hotter parts of the day. On top of that, there was only one power outlet in the entire room, which made it very difficult for us to charge our phones and other devices. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. To make matters worse, the water coming from both the shower and the sink was brownish at times, which was very concerning and made us question the cleanliness and safety of the water. Another major disappointment was the “all-inclusive” package. Many of the better meals and drinks were not actually included and required an additional charge. It felt misleading because the options that were included were much more limited than expected. The Wi-Fi was another inconvenience. It was only available for free in the lobby, and there was no complimentary Wi-Fi access in the rooms, which was frustrating for guests who wanted to stay connected. And last the phones in room doesn’t work which makes us going to the reception each time we need something.

Asked for an iron, they said they will send it to the room 3 days in a row. They never did. At Nigma restaurant a rude adult staff who talk about politics and my country. Learn them to be silent! The pushy sellers (juice and beauty clinic) aroumd the pool all the time! The very poor quality juices which wasn't other than sugar and colour. The "american coffee" was a disaster served in plastic cups. Cadeau to cleaning and laundry staff and Abdola at Snackbar and the woman who made bread and of course Animation staff.
