The room and bed are spacious and the transportation is convenient. The downside is that the room has a smell and the shower facilities are old.

This was a great budget friendly place to stay. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room was updated and clean but more attention to the little details need to be given (curtains were broken in my room but were still able to cover the window). The halls, stairs and the outside of the building definitely need attention. If someone was looking for a place to stay and drove by, they would bypass this little gem. I will not hesitate to recommend the Red Maple Inn and would consider staying again when in Huntsville.

Size of room was great. They had a microwave and a mini refrigerator. Definitely could use an update. There was some holes in the walls stains on the bathroom curtain.

Reasonable no-frills room

Be careful selecting your room. Our two bedroom suite was a “two beds in a little room” booking. They couldn’t offer any other choices at check-in, and I was quickly reminded that it was too late for a refund. The mini fridge whistled all night. Be sure to bring your own shampoo. Great shower and nice pillows. Clean room. No offensive odors as some comments warned.

The rooms reeked of smoke, no working wifi and no coffee except for nespresso machine in lobby (which they hide overnight so it doesn’t get stolen). Broken beds in the hallway, or out back, no working ice machine but still in hallway and despite no smoking signs everywhere- the 3rd floor reeked. Family run though and kind people and they swapped our room for a ‘less’ smoky one! The good: beds were comfy and it was quiet.

No working wifi. Front desk said that it was because I used apple products. Strange that i never experienced or even heard of such a problem before. Room was spacious and clean.

Room was recently renovated, poorly renovated. Mirror in washroom was missing, cable tv not functional. However bedding was clean,towels were clean smelled good. It was a cheap price , if I had paid more I would’ve asked for different room or refund.

It wasn't fancy, and we didn't need it to be, but our room was clean. The bed was comfortable & we both had a good sleep. Air conditioner was powerful, which was great. We would ask for an upper level room if staying longer. We don't care for having a sliding door on a ground floor. Ours was on the street/parking lot side, so we just kept the curtains closed. We were happpy to discover an award winning fish & chip restaurant (with delicious halibut) just down street, less than a minutes drive away. Very walkable distance on a cooler day, plus there's a little cafe across street (didn't have time to use). We were only in town one night & the price was good & we were satisfied with our stay.
