Well we checked in early, he was accommodating for that. Was given a key, then told dead bolt didn’t work. Got in room, smelt musty, was dirty, cob webs in windows, dirt on walls. No extra anything - no extra role of tp, no Kleenex, no hair dryer (which we finally asked for next morning) Beds are comfortable. Nice hot water for shower.

It is an old motel...but the staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help. It's an inexpensive place to get some sleep and a hot shower in the heart of Muskoka. Don't expect resort amenities, but not resort prices. We stayed out late at On the Docks Pub and walked back to the motel. Exactly what we were looking for, a place to sleep and McDonald's coffee the next morning.
