The lovely warm staff and beautiful location are standing outside. We stayed for a long weekend with our dog and the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. My wife and I love the view from our room from the balcony, able to look out to the lake was wonderful! And the location is so close to downtown Bracebridge (about a 5 mins walk!). Also, the staff at the front desk was excellent, very friendly and very helpful. The only thing I would say was that my wife and I were disappointed about their continental breakfast. The selection seemed to be very bare minimum compare to a lot of the other hotels we stayed before. Their C.B. is way better.

If you want old school charm...this is the place to go. It's a beautiful setting overlooking the river in Bracebridge. There are beautiful seating areas and the rooms all have balconies that look over the river. It's quiet, serene, peaceful. Although they don't have cable, they do have Netflix! Breakfast was included (which is rare these days) and it was a beautiful arrangement of basics (nothing hot except your toast or a bagel) but there was plenty there to start your day off with a full stomach! Highly recommend!

We only stayed one night as a stop on a journey. We were pleasantly surprised that a continental breakfast was included although we did not use it as we had other breakfast plans. The room was clean but a bit dated. They did note they were in the midst of a renovation so I am sure things will be great when that is done. The deodorizer they sprayed was a bit too pungent but I noted that to them. All in all a fine stay.

Very nice place I would stay there again. Parking can be a bit tricky later in the day. Overall, a very nice place to stay staff were very friendly. Continental breakfast is anything you get at any other hotel. The room was nice kept clean. We did not hear people in the hallway which I was a little bit worried about. It was very quiet. They have a nice patio. You can sit outside and look at the water. We did not try the on-site restaurant, but it did smell good and had quite a few people eating there overall I would stay here again.

Check-in was excellent; rooms were quirky but clean; continental breakfast was just fine; and the attached dining room was great for our party of 12, with a private room for us. There was also a busy outdoor patio with a lovely view. Parking was easy. Note that there are no elevators, so some might find the stairs difficult. However, the staff quickly volunteered to take our bags up, so we had no issues. Highly recommended if you are in the area and looking for something more interesting than the usual roadside motels.
