I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Barboursville for three days while on business and really enjoyed my stay. The location was great, with easy access to restaurants and shopping, especially helpful if you’re like me and always forget something at home. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. The staff were consistently friendly, especially during the morning breakfast hours. Speaking of breakfast, it was better than expected for a hotel breakfast, and since it’s free, I certainly have no complaints. The staff preparing the food was very welcoming, and the coffee was actually good. Overall, this was a comfortable, convenient, and pleasant stay. I’d definitely stay here again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wonderful

We visit the area a lot and had stayed at another hotel every time. Now that we have stayed here we will not stay anywhere else. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the rooms, lobby and commons areas are very clean.

Unfortunately, we had a bit of a disturbance when a dog in the room next to us woke us up at 6 a.m. However, I recognize that this is something beyond the hotel's control, and it doesn't take away from the positive experience we had overall.
