The hotel is very well located for the city centre and very cheap car park. The only criticism is that the room doors bang loudly when they are closed so you hear a lot of banging doors.

Great location near old town and rail station! Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and functional room. Only negative was that the room was very warm and the temperature control didn’t seem to be working. I wasn’t there during the day so I just opened the window to let in Cool air for the night.

For a budget hotel, the Ibis is a cut above. The rooms are not large but the beds are extremely comfy. The shower cubicle is large with plenty hot water. The room is spotless and as a sufferer of an allergy to dust mites, I can state that I did not encounter any problems. The TV worked well with a wide range of Freeview channels. This has improved from before.
