A great hotel in Den Helder

A great hotel in Den Helder, staff are friensly and helpful. A great gym, small pool, sauna and steam room. Rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. The bar has a decentbstock and the food is off good quality, highly recommend a stay.

Schönes Hotel direkt am Deich gelegen. Zugang zum Meer direkt gegenüber. Die Zimmer entsprechen einem guten 4 **** Standard. Freundliches hilfsbereites Personal. Restaurant im Untergeschoss mit erträglichen Preisen. Störend empfand ich die absolute Rauchverbotsregel. Wobei ich die Regel an sich verstehe, es aber befremdlich fand, direkt durch ein Schild an der Rezeption eine Vertragsstrafe von 500 € angedroht zu bekommen. Das Frühstück hat mir persönlich nicht so gut gefallen. Zu wenig Auswahl an Brot (sehr kleine geschmacksneutrale Brötchen; kein Toast, keine hartgekochten Eier). Freundliche junge Dame beim Frühstücksbuffet, die sehr bemüht war, meine Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier nicht. Alles in allem waren wir trotzdem zufrieden.

The bathroom and the overall experience of our room was outdated, unfortunately we had a disgusting smell in our room we weren’t able to locate - we could only sleep with an open window at night to get fresh air. The sink, the shower and the sink table were old - only the tiles were new and renovated recently. The sewers were not clean. Bed was comfy though and the staff at the reception friendly and welcoming.

Schönes und gutes Hotel für ein Wochende, Personal ist sehr freundlich nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war ganz gut, jedoch gibt es nichts in der Umgebung und das Essen im Hotel ist sehr begrenzt. Bei unserem Zimmer ging ständig die Alarmanlage an der Tür an was ein wenig nervig war.

Ruime kamer, goed ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel. Fietsen konden gestald worden. Hotel ligt dicht bij de zee, aan de andere kant van de dijk, mooie zonsondergangen gezien !! Het hotel heeft zelf 2 restaurants, maar op paar minuten lopen zijn nog 2 andere restaurants. De auto parkeren kan zowel op straat/voor hotel, als ook op een eigen parkeerplaats achter het hotel. Ontbijt ruime keuze Mooie uitvalsbasis voor diverse fietstochten. In de omgeving is genoeg te zien en te doen. Enige minpuntje vond ik, dat je moest douchen in het ligbad, dan heb je te maken met een moeilijke instap. Op de kamer koffie- en theefaciliteiten en een klein koelkastje.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt eine sehr gute Unterkunft, die Stadt selbst ist nur eine Anreihung von Häusern, nicht mal einen Laden gibt es in der Gegend. Der Strand ( für Hunde) war sauber und weitläufig. Die zweihoteleigenen Restaurants können den Abend schön ergänzen, wir waren aber in einem Pavillon an der Küste, weil da etwas günstiger ist. Zu empfehlen ist das Bikemieten, auch das Marinemuseum in Den Helder ist sehenswert.

Die Unterkunft war insgesamt gut. Allerdings von der Inneneinrichtung Flure/Zimmer zu altmodisch. Der Parkplatz/Innenhof/Zuwege und Eingangsbereich waren voll mit sehr viel Unkraut und Zigarettenresten. Eine gute Idee wäre vor dem Eingangsbereich und im Innenhof/Parkplatz große Aschenbecher aufzustellen. Und wie gesagt Gartenpflege und Unkraut entfernen auf den befestigten Flächen regelmäßig und intensiv ausführen. In einer gepflegten Anlage fühlen sich die Gäste mit Sicherheit wohler und kommen wieder.mfg. Axel Preuß

Verouderde indruk, kamer was mooi gerenoveerd, badkamer was uit de jaren 80/90. Bed sliep goed. We zaten in een soort bijgebouw wat moeilijk te bereiken was, trapje op, trapje af. Ontbijt netjes verzorgd, niet uitgebreid. Ik vond de prijs/kwaliteit niet echt overeenkomen.
