This can't be called a 4‑star hotel, it barely deserves 3. The rooms need maintenance and a general upgrade, plus a deep clean. The bathtub was extremely slippery; it looks like there used to be some antislip texture on the bottom, but nothing remains, quite dangerous in my opinion. Breakfast was okay, nothing special, but they start closing and stop restocking 30 minutes before the end, so you need to get there early. The staff weren't the friendliest either. The pool is about 2 meters deep throughout, so there's no area for kids or non‑swimmers. There's only one elevator, it's small and slow. We also found a few small stains on the blankets (nothing major) and a line of ants roaming around. On the positive side, the AC worked really well, and the location is great, right next to the river, so you can enjoy a nice walk.

We had an excellent stay here. It’s an older hotel but is well looked after by wonderful staff. Lovely outdoor area overlooking the river which was great for a drink before heading out into town. It’s very close to lots of great restaurants and bars. Pool is lovely and the breakfasts were fantastic. Loved this place - definitely recommend it!

We were very happy with our stay at Huong weGiang Hotel and Spa. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was spectacular, with fresh flowers, and gleaming entrance. We would highly recommend staying here on your next visit to Hue.
