Ky Dai is a fortress in front of the Citadel.  Over the years this flag pole has been destroyed by Mother nature and by war. But here it stands again 37 metres high or 121 feet.  We walked through the Citadel,  but this was a nice spot to have a packed lunch and imagine what this place was like back in the reign of 6th Gia Long
