“Room was lovely and clean and we had a modern bathroom. Staff were very friendly, food was excellent and service was great. Parking was easy and cheap (6 pounds I think) and the property is gorgeous. We had a room upstairs which was fantastic, our friends had one down the corridor which was different and not as nice. The only thing was the bed - it was extremely hard and impacted our ability to sleep well. If there was a topper or a different mattress I would stay again in a pinch, or just stay...

“Stayed for two nights as a stop over whilst going homeward. Wanted to have a look around the area. Room was small but adequate. Clean with en-suite shower. Ate in the dining area of the pub both nights and enjoyed the food. Informal but friendly service by all, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Recommend a walk to the canal and then the walk to Gloucester on the tow path. It’s well paved and flat and about three miles.”

“En general bien pero tuve el problema que de la regadera no salía el agua caliente! Solo de la tina así que imagínense el relajo para bañarse, el hotel limpio y lindo junto a un río aunque algo alejado de la zona de más interés. Tienes que tomar taxi a fuerza. El desayuno es lo mejor, delicioso y preparado por una señora lindisima y que cocina delicioso”

“Lovely large bedroom with comfortable bed and very clean bedding etc. There was no air conditioning just one small electric fan which did nothing much to cool the room which made sleeping not very easy. Also during a rain storm water was running down the glass on the inside of the window. Had to set the opening window in a position so the water would run away outside. Food was excellent as was the service. Unfortunately my wife had fall getting out of the shower. The shower mat had no grip on...
