Huaraz city does not have much to offer. Must see places around Huaraz would be - Ruins of Chavin, Pastoruri Glacier, Churup trek, Lakes - Llanganuco/Llanganika/Paron/69 etc. & the small town of Chacas

Lake 69 hike was difficult for most. Allow time to acclimate. Very little time at the lake.

Huaraz is full of shops and hikers. For a small town, life is surprisingly high-paced. All the cars and people are constantly in a rush. We had a really good time there, had some delicious food, and shopped for the hiking gear that we were missing.
