Great staff, but fasilities need an upgrade

Great and welcoming staff. And the hotel is pleasent. Just the pics in the ad and the current condition don't match at all. Luckily the villa was in good condition, but the public pool was dangerously old and shabby. Hotel restaurant and bar are closed. Everything outside the private villa seemed a little "ghost town-ish".

not-so-good, it need to be renovated

the room is good, old but good. Shower area was quite naked, there's only curtain between bed and shower. Facility in the hotel area was quite old and non-maintenance. There's only 2 Lounge chairs in the pool area. In my room, Wine opener is very old, can't use it to open the bottle. You can't order any drink that much from room services, but staff was very friendly and nice.

Wait.

Do not go unless you are prepared for no hot water and dirty room. It’s been sold and will receive a make over, this Will EVENTUALLY be a great place to stay

Great stay with amazing scenery! The private pool is good for a swim. And the public pool is huge! They have 3 friendly and cute dogs to welcome us at the reception. Will return again!

It’s a relaxing resort which takes around 10 mins ride from city centre. The resort offers shuttlebus service to and from city centre yet not that frequent ( suggest to check for the schedule from their website) The room is spacious and environment is perfect.

Quiet and pleasant. Amenties can be improved.

Very secluded area with lots of bugs. Only 3 other occupants. Wonder how they survive. Overall great for peace and quiet but rooms are aged.

Peaceful pool villa away from Hua hin town

Peaceful stay in a pool villa. There is so much potential in AKA Guti. The resort is located up the hill and surrounded by greenery. It requires better maintenance and cleaning. The design is beautiful but it is not functional in some areas i.e., shower. The breakfast buffet is adequate. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Zen retreat

If you are looking for zen holiday then this is the place for you. Plenty of interesting insects and very peaceful. The hotel is fine but there are no spa facilities and dining options are limited (you need to go to the resort side) it's also about 15-20 min to the city so you will have to use the shuttle a lot. Overall nice stay but I would have preferred a beach holiday

Personal inifinity pool next to your bedroom

The personal infinity pool was amazing. Staff was extremely friendly. It is quite far from Huahin downtown but if you’re looking for a serene getaway, this place cannot be beat!

Disgusted by the Staff

The reception area is dated and had cobwebs on the fans. The greenery wasn’t well kept but the villa suite wasn’t bad it had a pool but amenities where lacking. The hot water was broken. The coffee machine wasn’t working. The food was overpriced and the chef cooked different dishes to what was ordered. I complained on the day and nothing was done. The meal wasn’t recooked or suitable replacement wasn’t offered. Upon check out they didn’t offer a refund for that meal either I received a 20% discount but was appalled. I’m Thai so it wasn’t an issue as such with miscommunication. It was the fact that they used mama noodles and completely gave me a different dish compared to what was listed on the menu. The sheets had stitches in them as if they were repaired rather than replaced when damaged. Also due to the location we had to get a shuttle bus everyday which is fine but this was on a 2 hour basis so if you missed your shuttle you’ll be left waiting for a few hours. Unless you want to pay 400 baht to be driven by a private taxi service. My overall experience was lacking for the price paid. I would recommend going to a local hotel by the seafront your experience will be much more rewarding as you don’t have to arrange travel back to the villa at the end of every night since everything by the beach is either walking distance or you can get a tuk tuk for next to nothing. Deeply disappointed that they only took of 100 baht for serving me mama noodles.

在山中間的.真的很憂靜...不是自駕遊的,除非你不打算出外..否則不要住, 情侶適宜,家庭不宜 交通問題,我延遲了到酒店的時間..但在我到酒店的三小時前,也有聯系酒店我們正在曼谷過去,到真正到酒店時已是早上6:00...但酒店的房間好像沒有預備好給我們住的...在晨早6:00要通知櫃台..加這加那...而最大問題是...酒店房間電話是壞的..而他們明知也沒打算解決...到第二天在我們要求下.才給我們一個手提電話! 房間設施太小.....一般這種遠離市區的酒店,及這種家庭式別墅都會配有煮食的用具及洗衣機...但這間酒店什麼也沒有... 我選住的兩房別墅,額外加了張床,但酒店好奇怪地把加床加在客廳中央,跟住把所有客廳的椅子都收起了...即是一家人也沒聚腳的地方...除非坐在加床上... 露天的浴缸很有情調,但我住了三天也沒有服務員打掃過,所以我一次也沒用過呢! 這種簡約及田園式的酒店是我的偏愛但這間內容設備太簡漏了.. 絕對要值得一讚的...是這裡的早餐...餐廳的幾位員工...廚技真的一流,能比美5星級的大廚! 若我給這酒店是70分的話...我有50分是給這間餐廳的

Don`t book a room at the GATI resort

There are many reasons why you should not stay at GUTI Resort: 1). We arrived at this hotel a few hours before check-in and was asked immediately to pay 1000 baht to get the room early (even though it was ready for us). This does not represent a 5-star hotel, and the people in the "reception" even laughed when they demanded the money. 2) NOBODY SPEAK ENGLISH, and they didn´t understand us, so we had to contact hotels.com to get them to translate our complaint about the third problem. 3) The very disturbing sound from the pool pump right outside the door from the bed. We even tried using ear-plugs, but we still heard the sound. When we asked them about it they said that they could turn off the pump at night, but then we couldn't use the pool. 4) A frog in the room (I know it is Thailand, but in a 5-star resort?) 5) When we went to eat breakfast they were out of everything, and the people who worked there didn't understand what we asked 6) We told hotels.com and the management at the hotel that we didn't want to stay there and when hotels.com tried to get a refund (even just for one night, they refused). The hotel is clearly not going well, and there were hardly any people there. They didnt even refund our early check-in fee.7) The location is not that great, but if the resort would have better it would not have mattered. 8) When we asked the reception to order us a taxi a person from the hotel turned up and said he would drive us for 400 bht, twice the about it really costs.
