“The hotel itself is lovely, the room we stayed in was spacious, high powered shower & a mini fridge. Major issue with pigeons on the balcony, 3 nesting plus others hopping about & unfortunately with pigeons comes a horrific amount of poop! Couldn’t have window open for fear of them coming into the room. Also our breakfast experience was ruined by the chefs inability to cook eggs. Poached or fried the yolks were hard despite (not that I should have to) asking for them to be runny. This really is...

“Room clean and spacious staff very friendly”

“The breakfasts were good, although they weren't included, but it was hard to get an evening meal. The room I stayed in was near the road and boiler/ air conditioning so it was very noisy so I slept very badly. The fire alarm went off early in the morning and we didn't get any information from the staff so didn't know if it was safe to return to our rooms. Although geographically it worked well I wouldn't stay there again.”

“Scarborough Hill Country Inn is a a gem! We were pleased to be offered a room upgrade when we arrived as we had initially booked a small double room and a larger room was available. We were very happy with the room offered - bright, airy, thoughtfully furnished and extremely clean. An extensive range of teas, coffee and hot chocolate were provided in the room along with complementary water. The restaurant was busy, however staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble. 5 stars for the food...
