Hotel Comments: 1) the room smelled like urine. 2) the bed had bed bugs / mites (my legs had bites on them) Expedia Comments: The hotel would not allow me to cancel the second night because I booked through Expedia. If I had booked through them they would have allowed me to cancel the second night and refund payments made for the second night.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. What I didn’t like was I reserved a room with a king size bed and got a room with a queen size bed.

The entire property was a construction zone. The entrance was blocked off by rubble and piles of tile and dirt. The staff called me while I was traveling to Houston ( only a couple hours before my check in time ) to say there was no elevator available and no rooms on the first floor. When I arrived and communicated my displeasure at the notification of the conditions I was told “ you can just cancel your reservation and go somewhere else” after traveling all day and being told that it was extremely upsetting and frustrating.
