We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Westchase for one night and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. We had booked a room with a king bed and a sofa bed. While the room size was adequate, the overall cleanliness and condition left a lot to be desired. The room was quite dusty, and there was a strong musty smell that resembled black mold. The toilet was not properly cleaned, which was concerning from a hygiene standpoint. The bathroom also showed significant wear and tear. The bathtub was old, with the lining peeling and coming off in several places, making it look unclean and poorly maintained. The soap provided was of poor quality and did not meet the standard we expected from a Marriott property. Another disappointment was that there was no complimentary breakfast. For the price paid, the overall experience did not reflect the quality we associate with the Marriott brand. Since we only stayed for one night, we managed, but we would not choose to stay at this property again unless significant improvements are made to the cleanliness, maintenance, and guest experience.
