The staff was warm and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and my stay was quiet. The location was perfect for me and I would recommend the Wolastoq Inn to anyone interested in a great accomodation.
Staffs very nice and very helpful. Motel had a problem with the plumbing. Staff advised us and located us at another place. Everything went smoothly . They took everything in charge. They were very pro active . It was very appreciated.
Room was clean. Greeting from Quebec.
Coming for sure next year
I stayed here before the new owners took over, and there is a world of difference!! So clean, well appointed and good location. The only thing I could complain about is no coffee maker in the room, but there is one in the office-but not sure if it’s available all the time.
Stayed in a handicap accessible suite with Queen bed and sofa bed. Free WiFi and access to TV apps in both living room/ kitchenette and bedroom areas. Near downtown Houlton , a charming northern Maine city. We appreciate that this facility is owned and run be the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians
The place was very clean and everything was very new from the floors to the ceilings.Everything.... It was very relaxing and swe slept great.. We had been riding all day and we really enjpyed staying at this place. The staff was amazing as well. It was very quiet too.
This motel is newly remodeled and beautifully done! We were a little hesitant to book it when the price was so much lower than other hotels in the area since we thought maybe there was something wrong with it. The bath is a deeper soaker type tub with two shower heads, one of them detachable. The beds and bedding were great. I enjoyed the staff members that we met.
Great stopover before traveling through Canada. Friendly and accommodating staff! My husband left his iPad behind by accident and the staff were quick to call, not once...but twice, to make sure we had opportunity to pick it up, or for them to send it to us. Thank you!
We booked about a half hour before our arrival because we were coming from Ft. Kent and couldn’t find much. It was getting dark and I was afraid we wouldn’t find a place today. This ended up being the favorite hotel of our 3 night stay. It was super clean, the staff was friendly especially the lady working Sunday night 8/18. She gave me a list of places to grab a quick dinner and even knew what time everything closed. It’s a small place so we were able to back our car right up to the door for easy on and out.
This newly renovated motel is very nice! Basic rooms with comfortable beds and tables. Could use a second chair for sitting though. Huge 50 inch Roku TV. Microwave and good size refrigerator. The only issue we had was with the HVAC system. There were 2 separate controls that both had AC and heat. The heat would not shut off set at 70. It kept heating up to 78 degrees! The desk clerk tried to get it to turn off but nothing happened. I told her to unplug it to reset it. Then we turned AC on to cool down the room. Then that wouldn’t shut off and was set at 70 and cooled the room to 64! We unplugged it to get it to stop. This needs to be repaired with instructions on which thermostat controls what! One other concern was there are no dead bolt locks on the doors or any kind of chain lock or door stop. The room could easily be broken into sliding a credit card In the door jam. The free coffee was a nice perk!
