Was a great place to stay on our motorcycle cycle trip on our way to Copper Harbor when we were passing through. Front desk was very friendly & helpful. Pool and hot tub area was nice as well as the complimentary large breakfast. Would stay again.

Centrally located in downtown Houghton. Lots of steps. Older facility in decent repair. Parking was an issue first night having to park in the city "overflow" & walk to the hotel. Room was clean. Had a great view of the canal and lift bridge (room 501). Across the street from the Ambassador Restaurant! Amy & staff were great!

The location of the hotel is excellent. The carpeting in the rooms is worn and definitely needs replacing. The bathroom also needs updating and the shower curtain smelled sour.

This was an amazing hotel to stay at! I asked upon check in if any of the rooms had a view of the channel and was upgraded to a suite with an amazing view! Really could not have asked for a better place to stay. Angela really made our stay special. Great walkability to the water, shops and dining.

Good location, easy walk to restaurants and the river walk. Breakfast was very good. But our room had black mold in bathroom, missing weather seal on door, ripped carpet.

Anyone walking by the room could see in because there was not a window covering blocking. The property was very dated and it was noisy while trying to sleep. Staff was friendly. It was close to restaurants.
