Since we arrive Cedric helped us out with the check in. We arrived late at night because of a delay flight. We were tired and Cedric made sure we had a smooth and fast check in so we could get to rest. He was friendly and nice. In the reception there was Avril, she was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. She helped us with all our tour booking, gave us recommendations, helped us with our transportation. She was very patiencent and always with a smile ready to help. The restaurant (Nunu) has a delicious breakfast and the staff is also really attentful and friendly. We meet Michelle there, who was wonderful and friendly. Also always with a smile serving us and giving recommendations. Overall the Alameda staff is great and the hotel is super nice.

We have stayed at Reef House several times and parts of it are starting to look a little tired. The tracks for the sliding doors - to balcony, bathroom and cupboards- need servicing or replacing. Geneeal maintenance is lacking in parts. Having recently stayed at a newly refurbushed hotel at Noosa this would probably be our preferencecrather than returing to Reef Housre

Great size apartment with awesome views (top floor). Location was good (about 10 min walk to heart of cairns). Opposite muddies cafe which is a nice spot but always busy. Tip - the Indonesian cafe next door is a hidden gem. Overall great apartment for a family or group of friends. Will stay again with a group or family
