This hotel is a cute little place to stay. Right in the middle of downtown Paris Kentucky a very small town that really loves their horses. Hotel was very clean and everything was up to date. Would be a great place to stay to tour some horse farms or have a gathering or event.
A beautiful hotel with great staff who were very welcoming! Loved the horse decor in our room and throughout the hotel. Wish we had stayed more than one night; we will definitely stay there again!
Beautiful, renovated historic building! The horse theme runs throughout. Bed was very comfortable. Location is central on Main Street, walking distance to restaurants, boutiques and shops. Would definitely recommend.
One of the best hotel stays we've had in a long time. Everything from the staff to the room to the overall hotel was fantastic. The room was beautiful and spotless, the bed super comfortable, and the waterfall shower rejuvenating. The horse racing theme and styling was so artfully done and charming. Our stay was so wonderful that we added another night to our trip.
Chris, the owner, was super helpful in accommodating an early check-in and adding another night to our stay. Other staff was extremely helpful in answering questions and helping us with luggage. Parking was a breeze with streetside unloading spots and then a shared adjacent lot for our stay. Easy drive into Lexington. We will definitely stay here again.
Where do I start. This Hotel, staff, everything was absolutely amazing. The hotel is locally owned by some of the most pleasant people you would ever want to be around. Actually everyone we met in the entire town was so very kind and went above and beyond on everything. The rooms were TOP class, the decorations were everything Horse and Horse racing. We went to visit a friend who in in rehab in Paris so we decided to stay here. We left Paris with more friends. We will definitely be going back and if any possible way we can reserve a room at this Boutique Hotel we will be staying there. The next time we go we are planning on bringing our travel companions and Im sure they will Love it just as much as my wife and I did. They will most likely leave with new friends also.
Super cute hotel, and a very adorable town! There are a good amount of things to do around the area, but most of the shops and stores down the main road are closed early/have short hours.
This place is an absolute gem in every way!!!!! And the Thoroughbred racing history throughout the hotel is just fabulous. The staff was incredible especially Nicole, so friendly and helpful! If you are ever planning a stay in Paris, KY, this place is definitely a must!!!!!
We stay here for 5 nights to celebrate our anniversary. This is an outstanding experience! The hotel is immaculately clean with beautiful decorations. What really made the trip was the exceptional boss and staff. Chris, Andy, Nicole, Daniel and Ian, they are warm, professional, and always ready with helpful actions. We will definitely be staying here again!
If you are a race horse fan, this beautiful hotel in the fabulous town of Paris is an absolute first place winner! Every detail has been thought of and our stay was excellent. We cannot wait to come back to the comfortable bed, gorgeous bathroom room and cozy downstairs sitting area.
The owner spent over four million dollars renovating this property and it shows. Huge staircase going up to the 3rd floor along with a new elevator.. If you like old and yet it has all new updates. This is your place... It's a deal..
Any equine fan has to stay at The Thoroughbred Hotel. It is beautiful inside and the rooms are fantastic. Everything is super clean, completely modern with an elegant style that is so appropriate for southern hospitality in horse country. The staff were professional, friendly and went out of their way to make sure the stay was enjoyable.
Hotel is so cool from the minute we walked in. All the little details were perfect. Room was spacious and comfortable. We could hear pretty clearly other guest coming in and out of their rooms. The air conditioning unit is above the bed and it had a hum turning on and off constantly that had me get up to put my ear buds in to block the noise. It also dripped condensation on my head twice before I scooted down away from the headboard! Beds were very comfortable.
