The hotel was clean and the lobby freshly refurbished. The room was clean and I liked there was no carpet in the room. Other than some spots/stains on the coverlet and sheets everything was nice. Management took care of the sheet/coverlet problem. The towels were clean and nice. The air worked well. The refrigerator worked well. We enjoyed the balcony with the lake view. The pool didn’t seem to be pristine, but we did enjoy it after I skimmed it with the skimmer there on property. The jets didn’t seem to be circulating the water well. The pool is small and only about 4 foot deep though markers indicate 5. But I liked that. Overall it is a nice hotel and I would stay again. Great location. Request a lake view. The staff were nice and accommodating. The breakfast was your typical hot breakfast but not bad.

So, we were very excited about staying on the lake. We didn’t request a lake view room and didn’t get one. No big deal. Check in was so basic that we were only give keys and room number. No directives to the elevator, breakfast time/area, pool, nothing. We found our room and it was incredibly musty. Like literally damp. All our paperwork curled and softened. The soaps we had softened. The refrigerator froze all of our items. No way to adjust temp. Our microwave made a ticking sound constantly so we had to unplug. The phone didn’t work. The bath tub needed to be refinished and the shower curtain would not stay, it kept sliding to the middle. Since our phone didn’t work, we guessed on breakfast. Slim pickings…. Clearly they do not replenish during the breakfast hours. Literally, you snooze you lose. BUT, the location was fantastic! Close to restaurants, shopping, and a straight shot into downtown. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bath towels were very nice. Will I stay there again, no. Will I recommend it, no.

They are renovating so this isn't really fair to judge now. I think they need a few more months. The room was clean, the staff friendly, the decrease in stars was due to there being mold/black areas above the shower near the shower head. I have found over the years using Expedia means they put you in less favorable rooms because you're discounted in room charge. (And the pool was closed.) Great setting on the Lake!

When we arrived we were put in a room that was not a balcony nor was it a lake view the room was so filthy that walking from the bathroom to the bed it looked.like the floor was made of dirt i had to go myself and buy some cleaning supplies to clean the bathtub out the was mold on ever surface in the bathroom the bedding was so dirty it stuck like someone had sweated on it and never used deodorant we stayed one night but was. Charged for two I will never stay at a Wyndham property ever again it was a rip off and the guy at the desk said he would talk to his boss about it and nothing ever came of it so I am very very disappointed with the Wyndham hotel service and shape of the room thanks for wrecking our short vacation

This hotel was very rundown and filthy! The room had years of dirt and grime in the doors and corners. The staff was insufficient to fix issues during our stay. The breakfast room was especially dirty with food being left out over night. There was no fresh fruit, dairy, or juice. The hot items were microwaved from frozen scrambled egg and sausage patties, biscuits, and dubious “gravy”. There was no cereal. There was no attendant working in the breakfast area. The front desk person came to replace inedible items upon request and handled food without groves and did not wear a hairnet in the food prep or dining areas. There is a sign guaranteeing cleanliness and good repair, however, the manager refused us a refund. He did, however, allow us to check out after one day so we could choose a more suitable accommodation for the rest of our stay in Hot Springs. Expedia’s was very helpful and gave us a $50 credit for the haste and bad breakfast.

The view was awesome. It was quiet & beds comfy... However, the rooms had an unpleasant odor. We asked to switch rooms & the second room didn't smell as bad. I was disappointed in breakfast. Same thing & lukewarm. No flavored creamer except half & half for coffee from automated machine. No pancakes or waffles.
