Vacations Close To Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema

I booked a non refundable stay since I was going in a few days. It said parking was available on site, and it’s not until after you book that you find there’s no available spots, so I was forced to look elsewhere, and drag my luggage around. That was very misleading, especially since they boast how rare it is to find a place to stay with parking on site. It was a key to my booking decision. The place was clean but the dishwasher was full, the oven looked like they sprayed the inside and lined with tin foil to clean, but never finished it. The shower had holders for soaps, but there was no soap left and no shampoo either. I tried to make coffee in the morning, but not even enough to make one pot. The pillows were INCREDIBLY thin, so extremely uncomfortable. Very good location though. We walked to the harbor for a boat ride. The CN tower, Aquarium, and Roger’s Stadium are all very close.

Didn’t get the room we asked for, toilet didn’t flush, constant fire alarms, thin walls, host could not provide us with the room we paid for, refused to refund/discount us.

Convenient location and the space is beautifully decorated. Host was very responsive and answered questions promptly.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. The elevator was not working during my stay, which was a major inconvenience. What made the situation even more frustrating was the way the issue was handled. Instead of providing a clear and honest explanation or an appropriate solution, a staff member was sent to our room and gave us misleading information. Additionally, there was only one person working at the front desk, which resulted in poor service and long delays in addressing guests’ concerns. Overall, the level of service and professionalism was far below what I would expect from a hotel. If I could give this hotel a negative rating, I would. I strongly recommend improving both the staffing and the way guest complaints are handled.
