This was one of the WORST hotels my family and I have EVER stayed in. It is unfortunate that this was the case because this stay was booked for my sons birthday. The staff at the front desk were extremely rude. It was difficult to get in touch with the front desk so my boys literally went back and forth to get someones help, 5 different times. It was not even time to check out and the cleaning people were at our door. We were packing to leave, and the door was cracked open and she pushed it open 3 different times to ask if we were leaving. SUPER frustrating. This was a stay for FOUR. Not 2. We had TWO towels so my boys had to go get towels, There refrigerator was super dirty so the drinks we brought, were left on the counter. I mean who wants their food and drinks in a dirty fridge ya know? The AC in the room did not work. This was one of the times my boys went to the front desk to let them know. STILL, nothing was done. We booked here because it was somewhat close to the state fair. The price for ONE night was absolutely over the top. Understandable. The hotel is beautiful.... had good reviews, etc. I paid it thinking it would be a great stay. Turned out to be a very upsetting one, to say the least. I tried calling several times and nothing was done. It would be lovely to receive a refund of some sort. Anyway, my family and I did not enjoy this stay sadly. Thank you!

We had no hot water our second day. waited for a long time and there was no change. Very disappointing. Also room was right beside maintenance room and it was very noisy. Room location was very poor, down a dark hall at the end of the hotel, and not adjacent to the central atrium. big room but felt it was dirty. Common areas were not maintained at all. never vacumed.

The staff were friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was great!

Whole hotels smells like smoke.

The room was clean and the staff was attentive and welcoming - thank you! There seemed to be a language barrier here and there, one of the lamp bulbs was out, and the shampoo bottle in the shower was not working so had to be dismantled to get shampoo. Suggestions: "Free" breakfast of cereal and waffles is not a good breakfast for those who cannot have them due to allergies; at least having hard boiled eggs would have been nice. Not everybody drinks chilled "red" wine, so none at room temp was available.
