Very nice

Sauntehus Slotshotel was a very good stay. The room was comfortable without being luxe, everything was clean and working. We didn’t have dinner in the restaurant but breakfast was excellent. The grounds and building itself were lovely.

Helt dött hotell. Kommer aldrig åka hit igen, kommer inte rekommendera heller. Helt ok 1 natt om man reser runt. Finns inget på hotellet som gör en glad.

Vi har lige været på ophold fra den 14 -16 juli på Saunte Slotshotel. Det var en meget skuffende oplevelse og ikke noget vi umiddelbart vil anbefale til andre. Slotshotellet er meget slidt, det dryppede fra tagrenderne, døre og vinduer var der råd i. Der var masser af ukrudt foran Slotshotellet og på terrasserne Havemøblerne var der ingen puder i eller indbød til at man kunne sidde der trods vejret var godt. Der var ikke blomster i blomsterkummerne på den store terrasse og der blev ikke af personalet lagt op til at man kunne sidde ude og nyde sin morgenmad. Morgenmaden var langt under standard, kun en bolle og halve stykker rugbrød med to slags pålæg. Der var ingen lækkerier eller varme retter. Meget skuffende når morgenmads udvalget er større på et hostel. Betjeningen var ok men vi følte os ikke hjertelig velkommen og det blev ikke informeret omkring de faciliteterne på Slotshotellet. Det virkede til at være på randen af konkurs. Vi havde virkelig glædet os og set frem til at skulle på på et Slotshotel denne sommer. Så det var ikke lige den Slots ferie ophold vi havde regnet med desværre.

Ved bestilling trodde vi at vi skulle overnatte på et slott, men vi fikk tildelt rom i et tilbygg på slottet fra tidlig 80 tall. Dårlig stand på bad. Glass på bad ikke vasket, sprukken vask. Balkong var uvasket, full av gammelt løv og skitne utemøbler så vi fikk ikke brukt balkongen. Det som trakk opp var at utsikten. var mot en vakker park med gamle vakre trær. Det var stille og rolig med gode senger.

Med en lørdagspris på knap 1600kr må man forvente et vist niveau. Receptionen var svær at finde, men viste sig at være i hotelbaren, hvor en flink kvinde erklærede sig som vikar, så hun vidste faktisk ikke hvor vores værelse lå - det kunne en tjener så pege ud for os i tilbygningen, men de havde travlt, så hun måtte også videre. På værelset var en behagelig seng med en altan ud til slotshaven - dog var den indrettede med gamle og rustne møbler, så det var ikke indbydende i festtøj. På badeværelset var der kalkrester på bruse-armaturet og WC’et var af den efterhånden aldrende ‘træk-og-slip”-model med skriftlig anvendelse på cisternen. På gangen udenfor værelset var flere møbler af ældre dato ‘udstillet’ - uden egentlig funktion eller æstetik. Morgenmaden var næsten tom og kold, da vi nåede buffeten, som ellers bestod af.. ja, intet af det var hjemmelavet, ihvertfald. Jeg har intet imod at betale den rette pris for produktet, men i dette tilfælde burde prisen have været max det halve af hvad vi betalte. Der er meget potentiale på Sauntehus Slotshotel, men for nuværende bliver det ved potentialet.
