We arrived very late (after midnight) at Gatwick after our flight was delayed few hours. Clear instructions were left for self check-in to our room. It was of moderate size but clean and what we needed for a good night sleep. Room had water kettle and essentials to make tea and coffee. Staff were friendly and approachable. Breakfast was available but we skipped that. I would recommend though we stayed only a night.

It is a very nice and affordable hotel for those who need to spend a night close to the airport. I didn't have a lot of luggage, so took a bus to get there from London Gatwick airport - was pretty easy with guidance from Google maps and took about 5 min ride and 5 min walk - closest bus stop is "St Bartholomews Church". They serve Continental breakfast as well as English breakfast (for extra charge). I initially ordered English one, but they start serving it at 8am and I had to leave earlier, so had standard Continental breakfast and they refunded me the difference. Very positive experience overall.

The continental breakfast was interesting with some Indian flavored cereals and couscous. They did have some gluten free options. There was yoghurt, salad and toast also. The room was really small which made it difficult to repack the suitcases in preparation for flying out the next day. The airport shuttle costs money and is not complimentary. The shower drain was not working very well so the shower filled up with water. It was overall clean and quiet.

We had an overnight layover and this hotel turned out to be a great choice to rest and recharge. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the bar stayed open late with food options available. They also offer airport transportation at a reasonable price, which was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again if the need arises.
