I would recommend this place. It's perfectly silent all night (no traffic noise), good water pressure, a short walk from a large grocery store, and a 2 minute walk from a very good pub.

Like many others this was a quick low cost overnight stay before an early flight from Gatwick. The self check-in & out may seem peculiar but makes sense with the variety of times people might arrive or leave. Once inside the room itself was excellent: spacious, clean, good facilities. My room was next to the car park and front door so a little noisy at times, understandable.

Great overnight stay close to Gatwick

Nice overnight stay before going on an early flight from Gatwick the next morning. Great pub close by to have a drink and dinner. The hotel also offer airport transfer for £15.

Lovely stay close to Gatwick

Lovely rooms, clean and comfortable in a good location for Gatwick. The £15 per room shuttle service to the airport feels a little expensive but the Lodge is a lovely place to stay and very reasonably priced.
