I absolutely loved this property! A cute little cabana directly on the beach. It was amazing. Peaceful, beautiful beachfront with friendly people. Great location. Restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely stay there again!

An absolutely incredible stay in Hopkins! It doesn't get better than having your own private space right on the beach. It was nice to have our own kitchenette with a toaster, air fryer, coffee maker, microwave, and fridge. Having AC was also a huge perk. Arlene was such a friendly host—helpful, attentive, and responsive. We had zero issues with check-in and were able to connect with her upon check-out even though we left at the crack of dawn. The area is very walkable to restaurants and convenience stores.

When there is seaweed, there is garbage enclosed, so beach and swimming is out. Cabanas are good though

We stayed for 2 nights in the Pink Flamingo. The cabana was very clean and comfortable. The shower uses an on-demand water heater which worked well. The a/c took a bit of time to cool the unit but not too long. Plenty of power outlets. The neighborhood dogs and cats were friendly and unobtrusive. Arlene, the hostess, was very friendly and accommodating. No beach view but access takes less than a minute. No problem with parking and you are very close to the cabana front door. If you want a cabana that serves as a place to provide quiet indoor comfort and relaxing sleep, this is it.

Piece of paradise!

Our stay was perfect! The hosts take immaculate care of the property! The sand was even raked every morning before sunrise. Arlene even helped us with laundry. The room was comfortable and the little kitchenette was very convenient. We spent an entire day just relaxing on the property. Arlene was kind enough to even walk with us to the bus stop and gave us great advice. We will definitely be back as we feel we made friends for life. We appreciated everything!

For the price, it’s an absolute bargain. Fab little clean and comfy self contained huts with everything you need - right on the beach on the edge of the village. The private beach had sun loungers and hammocks - a pretty great way to spend an afternoon. Arlene, the owner, was super lovely and really helpful with advice.

Everyone was extremely friendly, not only at sandpiper, but Hopkins in general. This place is very clean and right on the Caribbean Sea. Paradise, especially those looking for a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The owners are lovely. But do not book the pink flamingo “garden view”. It’s a shack in the parking lot/ alley. There’s no breeze, you can’t open the windows. The photos are carefully cut to not show it’s behind the main house and in the alley. Any of the other rooms seemed nice.

The Sandpiper Cabanas are a wonderful place to stay in Hopkins! The units are lovely with full kitchens, comfortable beds and outdoor seating (along with lots of chairs and loungers directly on the beach). There are plenty of nearby restaurants with local fare within walking distance, but if you’d like to venture further there are bikes available for guests. The owner Arlene is lovely and hospitable offering lots of suggestions for dining and activities. I am a woman traveling solo and I felt very safe and at ease at this property and in the town. I highly recommend the Sandpiper for a relaxing and beautiful stay.
