Grand hotel with character

Highfield Park is a character hotel set in a huge plot with views for miles of the countryside. It is a peaceful location, yet within easy commute by car to Fleet or Reading. We had a signature room in the main hotel building which was comfortable and with a large bed and shower. We enjoyed the rich bolognaise and salad with garlic bread. The breakfast was also very good with full continental and cooked options.The staff are helpful and pleasant. We had a nice walk around the grounds near the hotel. Plenty of free parking, Certainly recommended and good value.

Rather enjoyed the stay here, the rooms are laid out rather strangely reflecting the buildings conversion to a hotel. The grounds are marvellous. Clean well maintained and welcoming .

Its a lovely period property in stunning grounds . The staff were polite and helpful . The breakfast were great . I had cereal fresh fruit toast and pastry one morning and full english the next both really enjoyable
