Didn’t like that the hotel didn’t have a parking lot, but after getting here its staff welcomed us and our dog (even a treat bag) made it worth while. Hotel is decorated cool along with cleanliness. Makes a nice stay at a historic hotel.
Tara, the desk clerk, was very helpful. We really like the atmosphere of this historic property. The rooms aren’t huge, but this is an historic hotel, we didn’t expect a suite, and it was more than adequate. The central location can’t be beat.
The room we have is much better than we expected- clean, spacious and comfortable beds. And to top, Tara was a great host- cordial and on the spot knowledge of recommendations we asked for in the area. Highly recommended!
History and charm. Great location close to downtown. Walking distance to most shops and restaurants.

Property was a close walk to event at the Ruins and other downtown venues! Clean, cozy and comfortable rooms! Nice staff! Construction outside our window wasn’t too bad!
Lovely Historical Property. Very friendly staff and guests. Dog friendly, inviting lobby to sit and visit with a glass wine! We will be back and highly recommend. Thank you. Rooms are quiet and the most comfortable beds & bedding. Zzzz
Hood River Hotel is our go-to stay. If you enjoy a charming, vintage (yet modernized) vibe this is your place. The staff are attentive, accommodating and just cool people. No need for a car for a shopping and dining experience as the hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of town. We only live an hour away and can easily pop in to town for the day (and often do), but when we have free time we book a stay because we have so much fun getting away in our favorite hotel and the price is so reasonable we can!
Really cool old building with lots of character. Amazing fireplace in the common area, old furniture in the rooms, and Tara was super helpful. Will definitely stay here again! Recommend the queen historic rooms.
The beds were small and short for my 6' 2" husband and son. Otherwise it was a very pleasant stay

Old hotel with lots of noise. Windows didn't close and there literally is a train right outside the window. Not to mention anyone walking above you sounds like they will come through the floors. We left early, and moved locations. It's not the fault of the staff or hotel. It's literally the location and age of building.
We love this property. It has a great charm and love the décor. Staff are excellent. With it comes a couple things to just know of upfront. Parking is not good. You have to pay $15 a day in a parking lot that feels unsafe to leave your vehicle although we have never had any problems. And.... it's a bit noisy at night if you face the street due to construction, the bar next door, and morning garbage trucks. Part of the Charm.... lol. Still love the Hotel.
