The motel room was very clean and the owner was responsive. We were pleasantly surprised to have a king bed when we expected a queen. Located within walking distance of a coffee spot and also some great restaurants. Great home base for exploring the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park.

I have stayed here multiple times, and it never disappoints. It is a cute, clean, "Mom and Pop" motel that is comfortable and close to the things I like to do. I stay here when I kayak on the Platte River. I love it.

Perfect for our needs

The Honor Motel was perfect for our needs. Friendly staff, both desk and housekeeping. Location very convenient to several points of interest, including the Point Betsie lighthouse and Sleeping Bear Dunes. While the village of Honor may not be the most spectacular neck of the woods, there were several excellent restaurants within walking distance.

Nice, clean, quiet Motel. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the shower has strong water pressure, but the space is very cramped or tight.

Clean but a bad moldy smell

The room was moldy smelling. Although it looked clean the smell was horrible. I rented this room for my son and his family for Christmas Eve. They put up with the smell cause they were only going to be there to sleep. I have rented one of the rooms for them before. It was the 3 bedroom cabin. That was awesome. If we ever rent a room there again we will stick to that room.

Adorable motel! Room was clean. Honor downtown has a number of restaurants and even a coffee shop, even though the downtown is tiny.
