Location is great. It’s across from the International Marketplace. The room had old green carpet, a Murphy bed and a kitchenette. There was a nightclub 2 floors under us. The noise was unreal. Thumping bass, screaming people, shouting outside until 3:30 am. I can typically sleep through anything—not this.

it has literally everything you would need. keep in mind that its cheap but my partner and i loved it so much. i think we liked how homie everything was. we stayed at the marriot a couple blocks away after the stay at kuhio and i will say, i missed kuhio’s location and completeness. the One and Only note is that there is no water station(please confirm though, it could be just that i didnt ask). now if you know in yourself that you prefer a grander experience, by all means spend the money for a grander hotel. if you’re looking for a homie, great location, and complete space, this is perfect. it’ll get loud on the weekends because of how centered it is from everything fun but that was to be expected. i Will be coking back to this.

The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. While the room is not cleaned daily, they gave us clean towels and toilet paper upon request. The front desk was very pleasant and helpful with any questions we had. Such as how to get somewhere or loaning us beach equipment. We would stay there again.
Murphy bed in wall. Very convenient can be up for more space in room or down to sleep.

The property is at a very convenient location right across from the international market place. Lots of dining and shopping options right in front of the property. The room was a good size with a Murphy bed and a nice kitchen. Bathroom was also a good size, large by Waikiki standard. It is in an older building but the hotel was well kept.

Staff was amazing! Very helpful. We enjoyed the beach towels and chairs they lend out, and bag storage on our last day was very helpful as well. Our room was very clean (no bugs!) and the linens were fresh. We appreciated overall quietness of the hotel, one night there was a disturbance out on the street but it was handled quickly. For being a dated building with smaller rooms, this felt like an excellent option for last second travelers on a budget. Very close to Waikiki, piles of restaurants and shopping, location does not get any better and the friendly employees made our experience enjoyable.

This was a perfect spot for the price. Right by the international marketplace, a couple streets from the beach, plenty of stuff to do and see within easy walking distance! The room was clean and I was happy with it. However, be aware that there is a nightclub literally right below the hotel on one side… so, you might hear the bumpin’ well into the night. If you’re a light sleeper, consider noise cancelling headphones.

This hotel was clean and great for a place to sleep and shower to get ready. It’s located behind the main strip of waikiki, and if you’re into the night life, it’s a great place to be. The staff were helpful and kind, especially the security guards, they were funny too. Unfortunately, there is no parking. Closest is across the street with Target ($60) a day, but we parked at the Honolulu Zoo which is $1.50 an hour (about a mile walk from the hotel). If you walk through the mall across from the hotel, you’ll hit the beach which is nice. There is no hair dryer in the room, no shampoo and conditioner, and you have to schedule with the front desk when you want the room cleaned, just FYI. All other amenities. There is a $250 security deposit which will be refunded as long as you don’t smoke or trash the room. $35 resort fee per day (included with Expedia), and you get access to beach supplies which is nice. It’s a but outdated with old equipment and bumpy pillows, but as a said— it works for a place to sleep and shower. There happened to be a blackout the last day we were here, and that was miserable, but not really the hotels fault. The AC was great! Do not recommend this place if you are not one who will want to travel around the island, as this isn’t exactly a place to stay at and relax. Great food nearby. Overall kind of average, but we didn’t mind because we were in Hawaii!! Our biggest complaint was that it was nearly impossible to get into contact with the hotel via phone.

The staff here were very helpful and friendly. It seemed family run. It is close to everything and the bus lines which go all the way to the airport. The room is equipped with a small kitchenette that was pertfect for our stay. There is a Target across the street with groceries. If you're on a budget looking for a place to lay your head, I highly recommend here.
