Great property, location, staff, upkeep, room etc. This is a pricey choice but in my opinion we got our money's worth. All rooms are good size and very updated and have balconies. Staff was attentive, water was provided daily as well as some small goodies. The beach is very small but other beaches are close. The location is spot on Waikiki, an easy walk to the main street and all its amenities, tour busses, restaurants etc.

We were pleasantly surprised as we have stayed at Four Seasons, Astoria and Ritz Hotels. Great ocean front property with excellent 5 star service! Pool is oversized and has great accommodations for sun worshippers and guests who need more shade. Location is outstanding as you can walk to the luxury shops and many amazing restaurants if you want to try something different. We had several spa treatments that were also excellent along with the many drinks and light lunches by the pool. The restaurant service and food is also outstanding . I find this hotel more of a 5 star boutique hotel and very calming! We usually stay at the four seasons in Maui but my husband wanted to go to Honolulu and I wanted to be on the ocean, this hotel seemed to be the only fit for luxury and walkability that is ocean front! I would highly recommend staying here as the Four Seasons in Hawaii is much further out and the Ritz Carlton is not ocean front! Loved it

Also like the location on the water but away from the hustle and bustle of the main shopping district. It is a very well run property. Almost everybody on the staff was great. I think this hotel is very overrated and not worth the price. I came from The Four Seasons in Ko Olina and expected a very different vibe. Personally, I would highly recommend staying at the Royal Hawaiian instead as it’s extremely charming and much less expensive. For me, this hotel was all looks and no substance. With that said, there was nothing wrong with it. Just wasn’t for me.

This hotel is stunning! The view of diamond head from our ocean front room was incredible! I loved all the thoughtful little details. This property is very modern but also warm and inviting. The location is walking distance to many luxury shops & restaurants. Highly recommend!

Beautiful clean hotel with the best customer service we have ever experienced. Every staff person was kind and helpful and went out of their way to assist with everything. The food at the restaurants was delicious and the pool was gorgeous with little touches like complimentary snacks and water. The hotel location was ideal and the views are gorgeous. We would highly recommend and would come back.
