Parking was easy and convenient. The Central YMCA is across from Ala Moana shopping center which has everything you could possibly need. It is also huge and confusing. The Y was a blessing. Accommodations in the area are exorbitant so finding a reasonable place was a relief. It’s an old building so it’s a bit dingy but a private room, a place to sleep… that’s all I needed.

I have stayed at this property before, and while it definitely could use some new paint (I say this in a kind way because the place is great for short stays), this time when I returned they were refurbishing certain parts of the building and it’s looking nicer and nicer. It’s not a 5 star resort, so if you don’t go in expecting luxury you’ll be pleasantly surprised. The people who work there are great and I’d absolutely stay there again!
