We did an overnight stop to split a long journey. Lovely welcome from Cara. We loved the accommodation, own entrance and all we needed for our stay. Great bedding and bathroom with shower. Breakfast cooked to order and is served in room was really high quality. Such a convenient stop off just in the A30, will definitely stay again.

Monkton court stay

Our stay at monkton court was exceptional our hosts Steve & Cara couldn’t do enough our breakfast was always bought to us the time we asked and Delicious. Steve’s poached eggs were perfect . The Maple where we stayed was very clean and bed was so comfortable. Would definitely stay again .

Wonderful Stay

Great getaway

I’m was actually thinking of giving a bad review to ensure this wonderful place wouldn’t be booked out all the time. Seriously though, we’re definitely going back- comfy bedroom, modern bathroom, spacious living area, and a kitchen that rivals mine at home for appliances and equipment. The breakfast was very tasty choices were plentiful, and my gluten free request not a problem.

Convenient location and spacious room.

Lovely spacious family room with fantastic cooked breakfast choices served in the bedroom. Great shower power. Comfortable bed. Kind and welcoming owner. Some road noise but that wasn't a problem for us and to be expected right next to the A30 which was perfect for visiting the beautiful Devon countryside and coastline right on the doorstep. Very happy with our stay.

We stayed for one night at Monkton Court. Cara was a great host and accommodating. The room we stayed in was large and comfortable with a nice shower room and small food prep area. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely family stay

Had a lovely stay, everything we needed was there and the decor inside was lovely and really well thought out. Cara and Steve were always on hand when needed and brought us a delicious breakfast every morning. Would definitely recommend a stay here to anyone.

The Monkton court B&B was a brilliant place to stay very friendly welcome we had a small issue that was dealt with very quickly breaks was also of good Quailty ingredients and the owners catered to our requirements even though we wanted quite an early breakfast the room was such a lovely place you for you to relax also the grounds would suit what ever the weather nice place to sit out and enjoy the view but a room you want to take time to enjoy also with a bath that was also hot too would definitely recommend and stay again
