Safe and quiet area in Wan Chai, very close to Causeway Bay , Happy Valley racetrack and admiralty. Other than location, i also chose this hotel because it has a bathtub. Great place if you plan to be out most of the time.

Nice hotel

Good clean hotel with very helpful staff. There is a shuttle bus but we used taxis as they are cheaper than the IK. Great views from our 15th floor room. No breakfasts but the room price was so low I was happy.

Positives: * Lots of water pressure in shower * Had 2 bathrooms (one had a shower) * Close to horse racing track (walk there in minutes) Could improve: * Hotel and room show their age, carpets old and worn. Furniture old * Has a bar off the lobby (see it in photo on their advertising) but it is actually now one big storage room

I would not recommend this hotel, it is worn out and tired. Rooms and hallways have not been maintained and also appear to be humidity damaged. It is also strange that the rooms are not provided with hand soap. When asked the front desk suggested I purchase soap from a near by convenience store.

This was a great place pre-pandemic, but now the facilities are tired and worn down, plus the dining room (where breakfast buffet used to be served) is now closed. The staff is really great, kind and helpful, but overall the place needs some TLC. I won't be staying there again until it's renovated.

Stuffs were nice and helpful. Like the shuttle bus service. Like there's rotation of the complimentary breakfasts. However, inside the room, the carpet was old and looked dirty. The sink area in the bathroom also needed update. The clothes closet was in a kind of awkward area and was too small even for 2 people use.

This hotel is a 2 star at best. The bed was very hard with the bed slats poking through the mattress. There was no hand soap available, I had to purchase my own. Amenities were available for purchase from a vending machine in the lobby. I had to ask for toilet paper. The blow dryer was horrible only 1 speed worked and the flow was nonexistent. There was only 1 electrical socket that worked in the room. The towels were worn with stains. Oh, and I was told that my room was upgraded. I would hate to see the non upgraded rooms.

Not sure why it could be called VIP? It is very old and not maintained. 2 cockroaches in 7 days stay. I think the staffs did regular cleaning in rooms but I doubt much is done to the building. Carpet is stained everywhere.

Fair hotel for the price

The check-in was easy and quick. I came before the check-in time but my room was ready and I was able to get the room. The rooms had two cups that looked like they had not been washed before I got them. After having used them myself and requested the room to be cleaned the cups were rinsed but not washed so they still contained stains from the drink I had in them. I dropped something on the floor and when I looked under the bed I could see that the hotel never clean under the beds. The room had a constant noise from the ventilation system, which I have found is very common in Hong Kong. The stag was nice and helpful with any requests. The hotel is located quite good when it came to using public transport.

The reception area, so our first impression of the hotel was dirty. The floor was dirty and this was noticed as soon as we walked in. Under the edge of the glass on the reception desk was strips of dirt. Our first impression was oh no what have we done. To be fair the rooms were clean and comfy but dated. Cosmo hotel needs to work on their first impression. It wouldnt take a lot to make the reception not look like a dive
